After spending an evening with his straight friends, Russell (Tom Cullen) goes to a club and picks up Glen (Chris New). The following morning, Glen asks Russell to narrate the previous night’s events into a tape recorder. What follows is a witty exchange between the two men, which lasts the rest of the weekend. Andrew Haigh’s film is rare in its avoidance of cliché and convinces in its portrait of the early stages of romance.
