Argentinean writer—director—editor Juan José Campanella has created a multi—layered and poignant thriller. Featuring an astonishing single take tracking shot set in a football stadium, this is the bravura filmmaking, reminiscent of 'Tell No One', that earned the Film in a Foreign Language Academy Award. 'The Secret In Their Eyes' follows recently retired criminal court investigator Benjamin (Darin) as he decides to write a novel based on an unresolved rape and murder case that still haunts him. Sharing his plans with Irene (Soledad Villamil), the beautiful judge and former colleague he is secretly in love with, Benjamin’s sets out to identify the murderer and ends up at the centre of a judicial nightmare.
