In his highly acclaimed novel 'Never Let Me Go' Kazuo Ishiguro created a remarkable tale of love, loss and hidden truths - posing the fundamental question ‘What makes us human’? Now director Mark Romanek ('One Hour Photo') and writer Alex Garland ('The Beach') bring this hauntingly poignant story to the screen. Kathy (Carey Mulligan, 'An Education'), Tommy (Andrew Garfield, 'Boy A') and Ruth (Keira Knightley, 'Atonement') live in a world and a time that feels familiar, yet off-kilter. On leaving the shelter of their seemingly idyllic boarding school, the terrible truth of their fate hits them, and they must confront the deep feelings of love and betrayal that threaten to pull the trio apart.
